Delivery and installation

Large outdoor products require more planning than an ordinary parcel. Final responsibilities will be stated in the product information and customer proposal.

1

Confirm the property

Measure the intended space and access route. Identify gates, stairs, slopes, soft ground and overhead restrictions. Review the foundation, drainage, permits and HOA requirements.

2

Confirm utilities and installation

Gas, electrical, plumbing, anchoring and structural work should be completed by properly qualified professionals. Kcee’s is the product retailer unless a written proposal specifically says otherwise.

3

Schedule freight delivery

Delivery may be curbside, liftgate, threshold, placement service or installer receiving. Service levels, lead times and customer responsibilities vary by supplier and location.

4

Inspect before signing

Whenever possible, inspect cartons and products before signing the delivery receipt. Photograph damage, note visible damage on the receipt, keep all packaging and contact Kcee’s promptly.

5

Complete installation

Follow manufacturer instructions, required clearances and local codes. Product warranties may depend on correct installation, maintenance and fuel or electrical connections.

Outdoor kitchens and countertops

Modular kitchens may arrive with manufacturer-supplied tops. Custom granite, porcelain or ultra-compact surfaces normally require a local fabricator to create a final template after cabinets are installed and level.

The proposal should identify who is responsible for templating, fabrication, delivery, seams, cutouts and installation.

Prepare for an accurate recommendation.

Share your property, access, utility and installer details in the project planner.
