Clear expectations before purchase
Store policies
KC’s garage and woodshop planning uses the established Kcee’s store-policy framework. The final seller and item-specific terms will be identified in the written proposal before any order.
These pre-launch policies explain how KC’s plans to handle orders, freight, returns, warranties and customer information.
Online checkout is not active. Final effective dates, supplier-specific terms, business address and governing-law provisions will be added before orders are accepted.
01
Orders and product information
Package prices are planning starting points unless a written proposal states otherwise. Product availability, specifications, colors, lead times, freight, taxes, site work and installation may change by manufacturer, destination and project.
- Before payment, the customer will receive the products, price, estimated freight, expected delivery timing and known exclusions in writing.
- An order is accepted only after Kcee’s confirms it in writing and any required payment is successfully processed.
- Custom, configured or made-to-order products will be identified before purchase.
- If a material error affects price or availability before acceptance, Kcee’s may correct the information and let the customer approve the change or cancel for a refund.
02
Shipping and delivery
The proposal or order confirmation will state the delivery service, estimated timing and receiving responsibilities. Freight may be curbside, liftgate, threshold, placement service or delivery to an installer.
- Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
- If the supplier cannot ship within the estimated timeframe, Kcee’s will notify the customer and provide the options required by applicable law. These may include accepting a revised shipping date or canceling the order for a prompt refund.
- The customer must provide accurate contact, address, access and appointment information and arrange a capable adult receiver when required.
- Redelivery, storage, address-correction or failed-delivery charges caused by unavailable or inaccurate customer information may be charged only when disclosed and supported by the carrier or supplier.
03
Freight damage and missing items
Large products should be inspected before the delivery receipt is signed whenever safely possible.
- Count the pieces and inspect cartons, crates and visible product surfaces.
- Photograph the shipment, labels and every damaged area.
- Write specific damage or shortage details on the carrier’s receipt before signing.
- Keep the product, packaging, pallet and receipt until the claim is resolved.
- Contact Kcee’s promptly with the order number, photos and delivery documents.
Reporting visible or concealed damage within 48 hours helps preserve carrier and supplier claims. A short reporting request does not eliminate any nonwaivable rights under applicable law. Kcee’s will coordinate next steps with the customer, carrier and manufacturer; do not discard or repair an item without written direction.
04
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Return eligibility varies by supplier and product. The applicable item-specific terms—including any restocking fee, return freight, time limit or final-sale status—will be disclosed before the order is placed.
- Cancellation requests should be made immediately. An order cannot be canceled after shipment or production begins unless the written item terms allow it.
- Stock products must generally be unused, uninstalled and returned with complete original packaging after written authorization.
- Custom, personalized, cut-to-size and made-to-order products may be nonreturnable when clearly disclosed before purchase, except where applicable law or a written warranty provides otherwise.
- Unauthorized returns may be refused. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection, less only the disclosed and lawful charges.
- Damaged, defective, incorrect or recalled products are handled under the freight-damage, warranty or recall process rather than an ordinary preference return.
05
Manufacturer warranties and recalls
Products are covered by the manufacturer’s written warranty, if any. Coverage, duration, exclusions, required registration and remedies vary by product. Kcee’s does not expand a manufacturer warranty unless Kcee’s expressly agrees in writing.
- Keep the order confirmation, serial numbers, installation records and maintenance documentation.
- Improper installation, unauthorized modification, neglect, weather exposure or utility connections may affect coverage under the manufacturer’s terms.
- Kcee’s will help customers submit reasonable claim documentation, but the manufacturer determines coverage and remedy unless applicable law provides otherwise.
- Kcee’s will cooperate with applicable safety notices and recalls and will not knowingly sell recalled products.
06
Privacy
The project planner stores drafts in this browser on this device only when you choose Save or Review. Details leave the page only when you send your email draft. Clear a saved draft using the planner’s Remove saved draft button.
Kcee’s may collect contact details, project information, property measurements, photos, communications, order and delivery records, and basic website-use information. When checkout is activated, payment-card details should be handled by the payment processor rather than stored by Kcee’s.
How information may be used
- Answer questions, prepare proposals and fulfill orders.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, freight carriers, service providers and—when requested—independent installers.
- Operate, secure and improve the website and maintain business records.
- Meet legal, tax, warranty, recall and fraud-prevention obligations.
Kcee’s will limit sharing to these purposes, customer direction, business service providers and legal requirements. Kcee’s does not plan to sell customer contact or project information for money. Reasonable safeguards will be used, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Customers may ask to review, correct or delete information through our contact page. Some records may be retained for legitimate business or legal duties. The site is not directed to children under 13.
07
Website and purchase terms
- Website content is general product and planning information, not engineering, code, legal or tax advice.
- Customers are responsible for confirming property conditions, permits, HOA rules, utility locations, product clearances and qualified installation.
- Unless a written proposal says otherwise, Kcee’s is the product retailer and independent installers, carriers, manufacturers and financing providers control their own services.
- Product images and displays may differ from actual colors, proportions and site conditions.
- To the extent allowed by law, Kcee’s is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use. Nothing here excludes responsibility or customer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
- These terms do not waive nonwaivable rights under applicable federal, tribal, state or local law.
The final purchase agreement will identify the Kcee’s legal entity, business address, contact methods and any agreed dispute or governing-law terms. Because Kcee’s operates within the Lac du Flambeau community and may sell nationwide, those provisions require qualified legal review before checkout opens.
